Barbara has over 30 years’ experience in finance, real estate administration, and Queensland conveyancing.
She is a member of The Queensland Law Society and a Commissioner For Declarations.
Barbara’s varied work history provides her with a solid understanding of all aspects of a conveyance.
She began her career in finance for a large financial institution in New Zealand, before moving to Australia and continuing to specialise in property development finance.
Barbara then worked in the building industry in an administrative role assisting her spouse in the running of their own construction company in Cairns. She then assumed the roles of sales assistant and office coordinator in two Cairns-based real estate offices prior to specialising in conveyancing. She has previously managed the conveyancing for law firms in Cairns being Preston Law (formerly Gadens Lawyers) and Cairns Conveyancing Services.
Her rare and diverse work experience only serves to benefit Barbara’s clients as she is able to navigate them through the often complex issues surrounding any property transaction.
Barbara’s years of work experience have honed her conveyancing skills particularly in residential conveyancing which incorporates first home buyers, established homes, new homes and investment properties.
Although Barbara specialises in residential conveyancing, her skills extend to commercial and rural property conveyancing. Most of her business comes from satisfied clients who seek her out to carry out their next property transaction, or from those referred by local businesses and previous clients.
Barbara is very customer oriented and possesses the ability to understand and cater to the specific needs of her client and as a result differentiates her service from others in the marketplace.
